Choosing to install an Inner Bath bath insert over the existing bath will save considerable time and money
The bathroom is undergoing a complete renovation and the customer has chosen to install an Inner Bath bath insert over the existing bath, saving them considerable time and money.
The jig is placed over the existing bath to gauge the exact size and shape of the bath. Manual measurements are also taken.
The cement grouting is removed from the wall tiles surrounding the top of the bath.
The rest of the bath is cleaned and washed with water and detergent.
The jig is placed on the Inner Bath insert and the exact size and shape is traced onto the bath insert.
The measurements prepared by the jig are crossed referenced with manual measurements to double check the accuracy.
The bath is cut to size in accordance with the measurements. The bath is then installed on top of the existing bath and then filled with warm water. The water helps the layer of foam cement placed between the existing and new bath to disperse and set properly.

Bathroom renovation - simple things make a big difference
Everyone loves their home and changing it once in a while is always fun.
Remodelling a space is not easy and there are a lot of things to keep in mind like time, your budget, labour, materials to use and much more. So we suggest you start with the smaller spaces first and work your way through the house from there. And one of the smaller spaces of any home is the bathroom.
Most people don’t understand the importance of a good bathroom in their house.
If you want to start remodelling your home it’s a great idea to start with the bathroom. With just a few changes you can transform the whole space. Bath restoration and resurfacing can be a great DIY project with some outside help for those tougher jobs. So what can you do to change a bathroom space?
Firstly, evaluate the space and find out the things that can be changed. Water lines and power points need to be considered and there are few more additions that can be made. Let’s find out what they are.
Modifying the bathroom lighting is a great way to start. Using soft light or diffused lights is the way to go. It creates a great ambience and actually increases visibility in the bathroom. Always remember the position of the light is of utmost importance. The lights should be placed at eye level or on the sides of a mirror. You can also choose a nice chandelier or unique light fixture to form the core of the bathroom.
Change the bathroom taps. Over the years bathroom fixtures lose their lustre and become outdated. There is a wide range of taps and spouts to choose from. Gone are days of old style taps. You now have longer spout faucets, contact only faucets that are available in different finishes and styles. They are easy to install and offer more usage.
Showers, if you can believe it, have undergone many transformations. Rain showers, steam showers, prefabricated showers, multi jet showers and much more. A hot shower is relaxing and its gets even better with shower panels. Just like in hotels and spas you can have a beautiful glass enclosure which makes the space look bigger and more elegant.
So what can be done with an old worn out bath tub?
The good news is, you no longer have to spend thousands of dollars on a major bath tub renovation. You can now leave it in and give it a face lift with the revolutionary Inner Bath bath insert. A bathtub is a lovely fixture for any bathroom and has its own charm. If you feel that your bath tub is looking obsolete, you can change that by having a brand new acrylic bath installed on it. It requires no re tilling or re plumbing and looks great.
Inner Bath Australia can help you while remodelling your bathroom. Inner Bath provide high quality acrylic bath or shower liners. They are extremely easy to install, taking on average 3 hours to install a new bath and the best part is, you can use your new bath the very same day.
